Christians walk where Jesus carried the cross in Jerusalem to mark Good Friday

Christians carried crosses through the streets of Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday to mark Good Friday.
The annual procession took place along the Via Dolorosa, also known as the Path of Sorrow.
The route is believed to be the path Jesus walked while carrying his cross before being crucified. Pilgrims from around the world retraced his final steps, stopping at key points linked to the story of his suffering.
Good Friday is one of the most solemn days in the Christian calendar, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ.
